PC Just Launched a Meal Plan & It's Pretty Awesome
President’s Choice (PC) launched a meal plan this week, and I must say I’m impressed. I currently have a subscription to GoodFood, PC just might give them a run for their money.
Named PC Chef, their meal plans are not subscription based. How it works, is you pick from their selection of meals, including Chicken Souvlaki and Steamed Lemon Butter Salmon, add to cart, enter your shipping and billing information, and your meals will be shipped within 48 hours.
There are certain rules though. You have to purchase at least two meal plans in one order, and each meal serves only two. So family’s of three or four have to double up on one meal plan. The meals are priced individually, but they are a bargain.
I ordered the chicken souvlaki meal for two. It was priced at $17.
What’s in the box:
4 skewers
Diced chicken mixed with onion powder
Diced red onion
1 tomato
2 cucumbers
1 lemon
Greek yogurt
Packet of Greek seasonings
Fresh parsley
2 pitas
Feta cheese
The first thing I noticed was how neatly it came packed. Everything came in a rectangle cardboard box that fit easily into my fridge. Plus the recipe card was fitted into the top of the box, which means you’ll never lose the recipe.
While I was prepping I noticed how little there was to prep. The onions and chicken come pre-diced, which was a huge time saver. All I really had to do was make the Tzatziki, Greek salad, and skewer the chicken. Plus, the recipe was timed perfectly. I only had to wait 2 minutes for the chicken to cook once I was done prepping everything.
PC Chef’s chicken souvlaki meal was delish! The chicken was moist, packed with flavour, and the salad added a freshness to the meal.
PC Chef has everything you want in a meal plan: time saving, super easy recipe, great price point, and delicious results! I will definitely be ordering again.
