Best Take Out Restaurants in Toronto: Social Distancing Edition

Being stuck in the house is a difficult task for a foodie like myself. While I do enjoy cooking, the social aspect of visiting one of my favourite restaurants is a real draw. With the state of Ontario right now, COVID-19 is still spreading, it is important that we do our part and socially distance.

But, unfortunately this means my favourite local restaurants are taking a hit. But luckily restauranteurs are getting creative. A lot of amazing Toronto restaurants are doing their part to help with social distance. Here are my picks.

Cactus Club Cafe

Cactus Club is offering pick-up at both their locations at First Canadian Place and Sherway Gardens. Their full menu, minus the beverage menu is available.

My Picks: Spicy Tofu Bowl and a side of Truffle Fries

Aloette

While their sister restaurant Alo is closed, Aloette is offering delivery on Ritual and DoorDash. They’re offering a reduced menu but are waving any delivery fees.

My Pick: Glazed Pork Belly

Roselle Desserts

One of the best dessert spots in Toronto is offering pick-up at both their locations. Roselle Desserts has removed all their seating and shifted their hours to suit their customers, and are offering a limited menu on Uber Eats.

My Picks: Turtle Tart and Paradise Cake

Maha’s

The popular brunch spot Maha’s is offering their full menu for take-out . They are currently open from 8 am until 5 pm and are requesting you call ahead for your order.

My Pick: Maha’s Mind Blowing Chicken

Annabelle’s

Annabelle’s Pasta Bar has decided to close their dining room and switch to take-out and curb-side delivery. They’re accepting orders from 5 pm until 10 pm.

My Pick: Daily pasta selection
